Fabrics for Garment Making

Morisset Fabrics and Crafts offers a wide selection of dressmaking fabrics suitable for garments, everyday wear, and creative sewing projects. Our dressmaking range has been curated to provide variety across fibre types, textures, and finishes, allowing customers to choose fabrics that suit both style and function.

We stock over 1,000 tubes of buttons, including ranges from Terries and Sullivans. Our button selection covers a wide variety of styles, colours and sizes. We also carry a large selection of lace, ribbons, and braids, ideal for dressmaking.

All fabrics are available to view in store, where customers can feel the fabric weight, check drape, and compare colours before purchasing.

Our Dress Fabric Range

We stock approximately 300 rolls of dress fabrics, including cottons, linens, polyester, elastane spandex, bamboo, viscose, poplin, rayon, lawn, and flannelette.

Our dressmaking fabrics are supplied by Martin and Savage, Greenfields, and Dean Sunshine Fabrics, offering a broad mix of materials suitable for different garment types and sewing techniques.

Sewing Patterns

To complement our fabric range, we stock a full range of sewing patterns. These patterns cover a wide variety of garment styles and are suitable for different skill levels, making them ideal for both beginners and experienced dressmakers. Patterns are available in store for customers to browse and select alongside their fabric choices.

We invite customers to visit our Morisset store to browse the full dressmaking fabric and pattern range in person. Viewing fabrics in store allows you to assess texture, weight, and colour, helping you choose the most suitable materials for your project.
